In Full Bloom: Custom Dewdrops Lighting Compositions

Spring arrives as a gradual shift—days get longer, shadows soften, and forms emerge slowly. What was once contained starts to expand: a bud loosens and color returns in measured intensity. There is a momentum to this season that invites new compositions. At Aqua Creations, spring takes shape through light.

Pieces like Suuria, Suuria Son, Perlina and Dippa from our Morning Glory collection echo a bud before bloom. Rounded and enfolded in hand-pleated wild Tussar silk, each suspended form holds both elegance and ease. Individually, they are minimal and refined. In clusters, they expand into bespoke sculptural lighting installations that feel alive — responsive to architecture, scale, and the quality of light in a specific space.

These compositions are developed through close collaboration with our design team. Each installation is bespoke and fabricated in-house, responding directly to its architectural context. Each installation is supported by a custom ceiling hanger, sized and specified to the exact dimensions of the space. What appears to float is, beneath it, precisely engineered.

Clients can define the composition across multiple dimensions:

• Density: from sparse, suspended elements to concentrated cluster
• Scale and height: adapting to vertical spaces such as stairwells or double-height interiors
• Color palette: selecting from 16 tones of wild Tussar silk, ranging from soft neutrals to more vibrant arrangements, or refined monochrome schemes, or harmonious and contrasting mixtures.

Mock-ups and color studies are developed as part of the process, allowing each configuration to be visualized and refined before production. The result is not a fixed product, but a custom lighting environment—a composition that evolves from dialogue, material, and space.
