Albi Serfaty, Co-Founder and Creative Director
Aqua Creations was founded in 1992 by Albi Serfaty and his then-wife, a talented sculptural artist. She served as Creative Director until 2011, before establishing her own independent art studio. Her direction crafted the studio's iconic permanent collections of the Morning Glory, Palms, Orchestra, Mod, Apaya, Nara, Jewel, Stand By and Furniture.
Since 2011, Albi Serfaty has served as Creative Director, leading Aqua Creations and its in-house team of artisans, designers and makers in crafting contemporary collections. The studio's ever-evolving oeuvre continues to experiment in new materials, forms, and technology.

Born in Jerusalem, Albi Serfaty was raised in a highly creative family. Gifted his first camera and darkroom at age 13, he has since been drawn to the hypnotic nature of light.
As a young adult, he moved to London to start his creative career as a photographer's assistant at Bow Street Studio. His talents led him to the world of advertising, serving as a leading professional still life photographer for global creative campaigns.
In 1992, he co-founded Aqua Creations with his then wife. Since 2011, Serfaty has served as Creative Director and Chief Designer of the studio. His work is driven by a desire to evoke emotion via light, viewing each design as an extension of himself as an artist.
