Taking its name from Japan's ancient capital — a city built on a precise grid — the Nara Family translates that same disciplined geometry into light. Each piece is a rounded square tile of handcrafted silk on hand-bent metal, designed to function as both a wall and ceiling light. The form is simple and considered, and it scales.

Available in six sizes from 60cm to 180cm, Nara can be installed as a single refined accent or composed across a surface as a repeating pattern of light. At its largest, it functions as a wall panel, casting a radiant, even glow across a room. Its low-profile form makes it particularly well suited to spaces with lower ceilings, where it adds presence without imposing.
The collection is available in sixteen hand-pleated silk colors, or can be produced in any custom color matched to a Hex or Pantone reference through our bespoke services.
